Faithful in the Ordinary
CALLED TO SHINE, SENT TO SERVE.
The other day, I read something that deeply resonated with me about life and the mission God has given each of us. It said, “Grateful people are joyful people. We must learn to be exceptional in the ordinary things. Whether overseas or in our own communities, we need to embrace a sense of urgency and passion for those who do not yet know Christ. If I truly believe that my Heavenly Father’s will is good, pleasing, and perfect, then I will do anything and go anywhere for Him.”
No matter where God has placed us, we have the God-given opportunity to use our words, actions, and daily lives to speak hope, show kindness, and demonstrate His love. Through simple acts of compassion and care, we can bring encouragement, healing, and transformation to those around us.
SMALL ACTS, ETERNAL IMPACT.
Many people are walking through seasons of pain, uncertainty, loss, and heartache. They are searching for hope, grace, and a reason to keep moving forward. Sometimes, a single act of kindness, a word of encouragement, or a listening ear can change someone’s day–or even alter the course of their life. In those moments, people can feel seen, valued, loved, and reminded that God cares deeply for them.
As we continue to serve, let us remember the encouragement found in Scripture: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9).
May we remain faithful in the ordinary, trusting God to use every act of love, mercy, and compassion for His glory and for the good of others.
We love you, Nick & Carole
