MEN’S CONFERENCE IN JUNE. I am excited about this year’s Men’s event on June 20-22. I have waited an entire year for this moment. I am thrilled to spend three days with Christian men from around Romania–fellowshipping, worshipping, praying, hearing God’s Word preached, and having fun through various manly competitions and contests. Our campground on Valea Captalanului, Alba County, will be ready to host around 300 men coming from all corners of the country. We have big expectations that God will move in our midst. We are praying that men will encounter the presence of God like never before and that many lives will be saved, healed, delivered, and radically changed for His glory and fame!

 

Since 2017, Carpenter’s House Churches in Romania has organized “No Regrets” Weekend, a remarkable men’s event for all ages. The main reason for organizing this event is to help men live without regrets and remind them of their God-given identity and responsibility. Based on the Bible teachings, the event explores essential questions about who we are as men, who created us, and what our purpose is here on earth. Ben Kinchlow once said, “Being a male is a matter of birth; being a man is a matter of choices. Everything in life is submitted to your power of choice, and once you made your choice, you become the servant of that choice.”

We live in a time and age when there is much confusion about what it means to be a man. The world has its own ideas, ideology, and standard of living concerning males. As men in the kingdom of God, our compass in identifying the characteristics and values of a real man is the unchangeable truth of God’s Word. A kingdom man knows his identity, takes responsibility, refuses to live passively, leads with courage, serves with joy, remains faithful, and invests in eternal things by making a difference in other people’s lives. At this event, we encourage men to choose Jesus and the way of the cross. We encourage them to embrace humility and surrender, the core elements of being a true disciple of Christ. We invite them to receive the Holy Spirit’s indwelling of power, wisdom, and understanding. We exhort them to step out of their comfort zone and into the wonder of following Jesus, serving others wholeheartedly, and living without regrets.

The Scripture tells us, “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.” Now is our time to arise. Now is our time to shine so that God’s glory fills the earth and countless men will come to His light. Amen.
