JAMAICA MISSIONS TRIP

SPRING BREAK 2018

Let's just start with the fact that Jamaica was an incredible experience. Our first ministry day there we went to a Jamaican church and enjoyed their worship service. Afterwards, our team was in charge of Sunday school for the different age groups of kids. We played games, had story time, acted out a memory verse, and more!

In Jamaica, academic achievement from the students is of the utmost importance. Kids are often rejected by their parents and peers if they don't do well in school.

During our stay there we were able to speak life into the kids' lives and share with them that their identity isn't found in the things they achieve but in the One who created them - Jesus.

Our team had the opportunity to volunteer at Montego Bay Christian Academy throughout our week there. We would help the teachers grade papers, play with the kids at recess, and even did a morning devotion for them. We also went to a psychiatric hospital and ministered to the patients there. Next, we went to an infirmary and prayed for the sick.

Every single person on our team was impacted by this trip. I was refreshed and during this time I felt God give me new vision for my life and heal different areas of my heart. I am so thankful that I got to go to Jamaica this spring break - it was life-changing. Thank you so much for all your prayers and support, without people like you change would be impossible!
