CARPENTER'S HOUSE OCNA
FIRST CHURCH PLANT - Started in the Spring of 1999
Our first church is in Ocna-Mures, Romania, and began in the spring of 1999. Augustin Decean, Nick's father, had a vision to purchase a property to be used for mission purposes, a place where people could come and worship the Lord freely. Over the past 20 years the church has seen so many people saved and discipled. The church is full of families, teenagers, and children who love the Lord and want to learn more about Him. Currently this church is meeting in a remodeled factory. They have constructed a cafe, an area for the youth group, and a room for the church service that holds 250 people. The children’s ministry is growing as well and there are many different activities and times for them.
Pastor Mihai has an annual conference for men which is called “No Regrets”. There is a need for faithful men who are powerful, with a vision for their families, who lead their families, and who are ready to fight for their generation. Through this conference we see that many men are catching the heart of God for their lives.
Mihai and Paula, have been pastoring Carpenter's House Church in Ocna-Mures since 2010.
They are doing a great job and have such a heart for the community and the people there. Mihai is a graduate of Victory Bible Institute in Romania and Paula is a cosmetologist. They have a daughter, Maia, who is 8 years old.
